Brad Pitt

I am rarely impressed with drawings of Brad Pitt. Don't get me wrong. I like Brad Pitt. But I don't like him enough to worship his image.
However, I can say for once I am impressed by this drawing of Brad Pitt (I have rendered his name three times in one paragraph, thus giving him mediocre attention)

This expressive humor of lackadaisical unconcern hints at an underlining wit behind his eyes. Perhaps he is contemplating the meaning of life. Or maybe staring at a naked nanny. I dunno.

I do enjoy the details, the wrinkles, the hair, the teeth. I have to admit, the eyes seem a bit off. It's the STAR, but yet it's not quite. A trick to see that would be to cover the half of his face with one hand and then close your eye. Then cover the second part. You can clearly see that for the left eye to be as dark as it should, the lighting would have to be adjusted on the left side of the face specifically underneath the eye. Then you could justify his difference in eye drama. Since this is a scanned image, the actual original piece could be quite different, as anyone who has been tortured by the scanner would know. Either way, I have to say the technique is a "softer yet serious" note.
